Higgins Car Dismantlers Limited is a long-established vehicle dismantling facility with 25 years experience supplying quality used parts to the public and motor trade, both locally and nationwide. Located on the outskirts of Ringsend, west of Garvagh and situated on a large site, making us the largest registered dismantlers in the North West.
We are currently breaking over 3000 vehicles, specialising in cars, vans and jeeps Approved and regulated by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency in 2008, we are now an authorised treatment facility (ATF) for the de-pollution and dismantling of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs). ELVs must only be treated at approved treatment facilities which meet strict environmental standards. All vehicles brought on site are de-polluted using our de-pollution system—draining all hazardous waste e.g. oils, fluids; the removal of battery and other marked hazardous items, before being stored in a responsible manner.
We can collect or receive end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) from the public who in turn will be issued with a Certificate of Destruction (CoD). A CoD can only be issued by an ATF. The CoD ensures that the vehicle is treated and disposed in accordance with NIEA regulations and that it is legally de-registered with the Northern Ireland Driver & Vehicle Agency (DVA) giving you the customer complete piece of mind.
